THE EXCELLENCE SERIES
Monday nights from
20 July – 10 August 2020
8:00pm – 10:00pm
Online LIVE & Recorded
Hi Everyone, I’m excited to announce an amazing collaboration I’m doing with four of Australia’s most respected thinkers, educators, motivators and speakers; Geoff Jowett, Lisa Stephenson, Paul Taylor and Dr. Cam McDonald. They’re also four of our most popular guests on The You Project (my podcast). Every Monday night for four weeks (from July 20) between 8 and 10 (ish AEST), a different expert will facilitate a live 75-90 minute presentation / workshop, followed by 30 minutes of Q and A and general interactivity, with me (Harps) chiming in periodically.
The focus of the series is self-empowerment, personal transformation and life-long learning. That is, empowering you to think, choose, learn, create, overcome and self-manage more effectively and confidently on a physical, mental, emotional, personal, interpersonal, social, professional and practical level.
The sessions will be delivered online via the Zoom platform and although we have designated two hours per session, the duration may be slightly shorter or longer (depending on the level of interaction post presentation). The sessions will be recorded and accessible to re-watch as many times as you like (until midnight Monday 17 August 2020), meaning, if you can’t make a session live, you won’t miss out. This will happen via a private Facebook page which can also become something of a ‘meeting and connecting’ place for the group.
Love Ya Guts and hope to see you there.

Dr Cam McDonald
From young entrepreneur, founder and a weight loss empire to alcoholic, bankrupt, depressed and broken. Few people have experienced the dizzying heights and rock bottom lows to the extremes Geoff Jowett has.
Geoff started his first business (Vision Personal Training) at the ripe old age of 23 and for many years everything he touched turned to gold. He exited Vision to create Bodytrim, one of Australia’s most successful weight loss systems, helping more than 1 million people trim down and regain their health. At one point it appeared he had it all; money, fame, success and a global business travelling the world and enjoying it all.
But Geoff’s fast success was also part of his ultimate demise. As his bank balance and profile grew so too did his ego and entitlement. He began to see himself as “better” than those around him and started to live life to his own set of rules. With time so too came the struggle, mistakes and ultimate failure of his businesses, brands and fast living lifestyle. He says that the struggle and failure was his greatest gift and it gave him a chance to reset and begin to build a life of service, contribution, values on a foundation of authenticity not media hype and self centeredness. Through this reset Geoff was able to discover a happiness he thought previously impossible to find and build a life that he loves today.
Today he helps others build their business and grow their life through sharing the lessons and insights he discovered to help them thrive and avoid the mistakes he made. Whilst he believes “the struggle is the gift” he also hopes that he made the mistakes so others don’t have to.
Geoff featured in episodes #98, #158, #167, #181, #195 and #210 of The You Project Podcast.
